Sorry it's been a couple of days since I blogged. We've been in Knoxville all weekend! My Nana got us all tickets to go to the Dixie Stampede. It's a place that Dolly Parton owns and you eat amazing food with your hands and watch several horse shows and the crowd battles North vs South. So much fun! The South won, of course!! Haha!! The girls really enjoyed it!!!!
Ashley's baby shower is this weekend. I'm excited! I have to do lots and lots of prep work but thankfully she decided she wanted food that I didn't have to prepare!! Ya!! I guess I don't have that much to do. I need to wrap the 300 presents I got her. I swear I've spent more on my niece than I have on both of my own kids combined. Ok I'm being silly but I couldn't help but buy Bailey sweet little things!! My Nana gave me this beautiful punch bowl for the shower. I have a couple of good recipes BUT if you have a killer punch recipe let me know!!
Nana also put a good chunk of change for each of my girls in a College fund!! I'm so thankful for her. Not because of the money, but because she does things like that. She could have given me the money and we would have paid off debt and then started the girls funds once we were debt free in several several years. But now the girls will be set!!! I just love her!!! She thinks of what really should be done and does it!! She ROCKS!!!!
BTW The Disney Channel has this new cute show about teaching an alligator manners. It's super cute!! AND good for some kids I know :) Yes, including my own children!!
Well the boys will be here any minute. I just wanted to write a little bit!!
(And Maddy says she loves Barbie Band-Aids and she wanted everyone to know how wonderful they are!!)

Update
Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days! I've been super busy getting ready for something I can't mention! And I've been busy with school! Lets see, in the past 11 days, I've read two books, and one text book, fully. I've written about 6 one page papers. I've written one critical analysis which was about 7 pages long. I've done a lesson plan, plus a power point. I've taken 2 tests, done 4 surveys. I've also replied to about a dozen postings. Crazy huh?!?! I have another paper due Monday! We have 4 units, and I just completed unit 2...whew! I was able to complete this and still take a 5 day vacation! Crazy huh! But I feel so accomplished. I have a 96 in the class, which is such a good A!!! My teacher is so amazing! And the class is great too, even though it's so much work (a full semester course to be completed in like 3 weeks), it's so much fun! I've enjoyed every single thing I've had to do, which is weird isn't it! I think I've truly, FINALLY, found my niche!!
We are still recovering from vacation! I still don't have everything unpacked, but I'll do it today! Maddy decided to sneak water paints the other day while I was doing my critical analysis conclusion and she painted her bed :) It's actually quite beautiful, I hate to wash it, but her bedding hasn't been washed in a couple of weeks, so it's past time!
Well it's official! I'm a 24 year old mommy to two!! I don't know why this birthday has been so weird for me! I'm so thankful and blessed!! I guess I'm at the point where I'm excited to be older, wiser! AND as a young mother, you get looked down upon a lot. I know older moms don't mean to, but when you tell someone your age they are like WOW you are SO young! Yes I did get married at 19, had Maddy at 20, Izzy at 22. But I couldn't be happier with my life! I never thought this would be my path but I'm so blessed that GOD had this plan for me and that he has guided me down this path.
The girls are doing great! Izzy's getting another tooth! Wahoo! I think that is why she ran a fever the whole time we were on vacation. Maddy is doing great too! They are both getting so big! Izzy will be talking really soon. She already talks, she says, oh about 50 words or so, but she babbles in such a way that we just know we'll be playing with her and she'll just one day bust out into a full sentence!! She asks for things, cup, naner (banana), milk, maddy, mommy, daddy! She mimics things well too! Justin had the sneezy's yesterday and she was mimicking his sneezy sounds perfectly, crazy! Maddy is such a sweet girl! She's really growing up to be this independent, beautiful girl!! She's so well behaved, and helpful! She has her moments, all 3 year olds do, but I'm so blessed!
Well I need to go finish picking up. We made a huge mess playing yesterday afternoon and I was just too exhausted from homework yesterday to clean up!

Venting
So today has been a little crazy!!
First, Cathy dropps off Colin (the two year old I babysit) and tells me that she's looking for another job and that she wants to move to Bedford County. Which is understandable!! But now I'm going, darn!! If they move and she gets another job then I probably won't be babsitting Colin and Logan anymore! And that was the "extra" money I was using to pay off our debt!! I hate when things are uncertain!! But I just have to trust that God has a plan for all of us, and we are going to be just fine, no matter what! It's just so frustrating because it seems like I take two steps forward and end up three steps back (yes yes Paula Abdul haha). We can't handle all of this debt anymore, and I just don't know what else to do about it haha!!
The kids are being out of sorts today too!! Izzy is fine, but Colin and Maddy are being silly haha, maybe because it's Monday, I'm not sure!!
We went to my SIL's yesterday and I realized that we leave for vacation in like 10 days!! WAHOO!! But I have SOOO much to do! I really don't want to go on this vacation. Hubby does though. And I understand he needs the break, and the beach would be nice!! BUT Izzy hates the car seat and she will be so upset the whole 8 hour drive to Fla. and back! Thank GOD Kennye and Jared have offered to switch around with us some so that we don't have to listen to her be upset the whole time!! PLUS I think this is a waste of money!! I wish I would have had some sort of say in all of this. It was just like, my MIL said she wanted all of us to go and all of a sudden everyone was going, no one said NO! And no one has kids but us (ok obviously my MIL and FIL have kids haha but not young ones hehe)!! I'm going to be taking this really hard class during that time so I hope I get to enjoy myself some. And even though everyone says they'll help, I'm not sure they will. You know? I know Kennye will. But hubby won't much, I'm afraid. I am so afraid I'm going to get stuck with hours of homework a day and then kids that are upset because they are not sleeping in their own beds, and they are overstimulated. Oh, I should be just thankful for the opportunity!! And just go with it.
After vacation I am planning something I can't talk about hehe!! And then I'm giving my little sis a baby shower that I have to finish planning! Planning all of this at once is SUPER stressful!!! Life is so crazy!!
Well I hate that I complained this whole post! But it feels good to get it off of my shoulders!! I think I hear the kids so I'm going to go now!!

Old Memories
So I have a facebook account. And I was looking at my friends photos and noticed that he had posted "old school" photos. I got to looking at them and MAN did they bring back memories! There were some from the 6th grade all the way up to Senior Prom!! It was crazy seeing how much we have grown up and how "grown up" we thought we were at that time! It brought back some really GREAT memories!!
But you know whats funny? Maddy looked at them with me and she couldn't believe that we were ever that young!! Crazy huh? It kind of made me feel old haha!!

No Special Day
Well today is probably not going to be a special day for me and Maddy. My little sister is sick and my not be able to watch Izzy. Oh well, my mommies group is going to the zoo at 10 this morning, so we will all at least go to that! I'm disappointed though!! But not at my sis, she can't help but be sick, everyone's allergies have been acting up!! I'm just praying she can watch her for a little while, Maddy really needs this time! She doesn't know that today was going to be a special day, I never tell her things until we are pulling into the place or whatever. She gets so excited about things!! And I don't ever want to break her heart!!

Well tomorrow is a special day!! Maddy has been acting out a lot here lately. Partly because she's 3 1/2 and partly because I haven't had the time to devote to her. So tomorrow I'm taking Izzy to my sisters for a while and I'm going to take Maddy to do whatever she wants! We'll probably go to the park, get ice cream and, maybe get our nails done!! Whatever she wants!! She has no idea we are doing this tomorrow! I'm super excited!!! She needs more of my attention, and my life has been so full lately, I haven't had the time....or made the time....to devote to her one on one!! So, i've decided that once a month I'll have a Mommy-Maddy day, and when Izzy gets older, I'll also have a Mommy-Izzy day!! It's going to be great to reconnect with my Maddy!! I'll take lots of pictures tomorrow and post them!

GRRR!!!
My wonderful hubby bought me a laptop for my birthday!! Very exciting!! Well, it has Windows Vista and our desktop has Windows XP. And we are having such a hard time setting up a network! My Internet works fine, which is wonderful!! I love wireless!! I found out today that my computer isn't compatible with my printer!! Oh well, maybe once we get our network set up I can just send whatever I need to the desktop and print it!!
BTW it's National Prayer Day! Please pray for your country, the presidential candidates, your kids, your kids schools, your friends and your family!! Prayer is truly powerful! It means more than you'll know!!!
