Some Potential Bad News

I just got off the phone with the mom of the two boys I babysit. She's been wanting to change jobs because of the boss she works for, can't blame her, he's a turd! Anywho. She had a wonderful interview today and got a great offer!! But I will only have the boys maybe two days a week now, instead of four. That is if she takes the job. Plus, in the fall, one of the little boys will be in MDO so i'll be cutting my income by 2/3!! Now this money was just extra money. So it's ok, I was using it to pay off our debts. We are desperate to move closer to town. But we can't afford more of a home until we pay off a lot of our current debts. With gas being so high, I can't afford to drive the 2o minutes it takes to get to the grocery store! Justin just filled up his truck and it was $86.00!!!! We've gone from spending $100 a week on his gas to almost $250.00 just on his gas alone!!! We can't aafford it....I don't know what to do.....I know God has a plan for us. But it just seems like the money thing keeps coming back up, and back up and back up. We get two steps ahead and end up 3 steps back. We have to get this debt off of our sholders. Off of mine....

If you guys don't mind, say a little prayer for us. And for Cathy. I really want whats best for them and I understand what she needs to do 100%. I just have to learn to trust that God will provide. God will provide!

And now I have to go do homework....sigh....how in the world am I going to fix this?

Happy Birthday

So Today was the big birthday! My husband, his twin brother and I all have the same birthday. They are just a year older than I am! So today I turned 24 and hubby turned 25. It was a fun day! We unpacked a little, took naps, played! All in all it was what a birthday should be: LAZY!!

This evening we went to eat Maccaroni Grill with my mom, dad, little sis, her bf Josh, me, hubby and the girls. It was SOOOOOOO good! Well at the end of the meal our waitor brought us out cake! And I gave Izzy some, she was sitting in my dads lap, kinda getting fussy! So dad's trying to help her eat dark chocolate cake without making a huge mess and she is slinging it everywhere! Too funny!! Well we get into a conversation and all of a sudden my mom says, "Izzy!!!" We look back to see Iz dropping her cup into my dads coffee cup! It was a perfect fit and coffee went everywhere! Iz has gotten big about putting things in their place and I guess she just figured my dads coffee mug was a cup holder!! It was SOOOOO funny!!! We were almost ROFL!!!! ANYWHO! It was a great dinner!!

I hame 99% of my vacation pics to my facebook and my myspace accounts! So you can see hem there! Blogger will only let me upload so many to a post so I can't upload all of them!

We had a great vacation! It was worth the money for the kids to have a great time and for the pictures we got!! Well it's late and i'm pooped!!

Haha I did buy Maddy some chocolate covered marshmallows from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory haha!! It's been fun though!! We have the most amazing view of the beach! I'm trying on the computer now looking out on our back patio at the beach!! The rain stopped a little bit ago and hopefully after the kids wake up from their naps we can go down to the beach!! And maybe get some good seafood!! Our condo is BEAUTIFUL!! So, we've been eating in this whole time!! I'm in the mood for some good food!! Well I need to go do some more homework! Ah, the life of a student! Everyone else is napping and I am doing homework (well, right now i'm blogging, but in just a minute i'll be reading)!! Hopefully i'll have more pictures soon!!

First Beach Pictures

So we drove through the night!!! It was exhausting but worth it because the girls slept 99% of the way!! We got to the Holiday Inn in Destin about 4 this morning. They gave us a late check-out, so we don't have to leave until 1 this afternoon!!! Of course last night we just got the kids in bed and Justin and I passed OUT! But this morning we got up and looked at the beach!!! Izzy even reached for the water and said Beach!!! We are on the 4th floor so we have a good view!! Maddy can't wait to go to the Beach. It's a little cool this morning but she said she didn't care if the water was cold, she was still going to jump right in! I can't wait to take them out there later!! So here are some pictures from this morning! We check in to the Pelican Resort about 4 this afternoon!! The rest of the family should be down here by then!! THANKS A TON daddy for getting us this room so we didn't have to waste this day driving :) Love ya'll!!!

Life ROCKS

Life is so wonderfully crazy right now! I started my FOED 1110 class yesterday. I've completed all of my assignments due this week except for one test, which I'm hoping to take while the kids nap this afternoon. Ya for me!! It's easier than I thought so far. Although I'm spending a lot of my time on the laptop and less time playing with the kiddos!! At least right now Izzy's asleep and Colin and Maddy are occupied with Charlie and Lola, I don't know what it is about this show, but they both love it!!!! They don't want to do anything else when this show is on!!

I'm super thrilled that in June I'll start teaching a 2 year old Wednesday night class at church!! I just LOVE Amy Sain, our children's director at church! She's such an amazing woman!! I can't wait to begin that adventure!! It's going to be super fun!! PLUS my kids will start going to Wednesday night class, which is going to be wonderful!! I didn't grow up in church so I want my kids to be as involved as possible without me pushing them into it, ya know? I'm still helping in a 3 year old Sunday School Class. Mrs. Sharon, the teacher, is going to be working with her oldest daughters class this summer so, by the time we get back from vacation and get back to Sunday school there will be a new teacher in the class. I love Mrs. Sharon but I'm excited that she gets to work with her daughters class!!

The more involved we get with Church the better life seems to go! Hubby is going to begin helping with a ministry at church that goes to the Juvenile Detention Center here in Murfreesboro. I'm so proud of him for doing that!! And it seems like the doors keep opening up for us!! It wasn't a month ago that I began thinking, "I wonder if I could do more?" and I received an e-mail from Amy that the Children's ministry needed more help!! And the church had a ministry fair and that is how hubby got involved!! It's amazing!! And so fulfilling!! It's just more wonderful than words can describe!!

Also, my mommies group is hopefully going to become involved in my Church's meals on wheels program. I've been going back and forth between Joyce (who runs the meals program) and Brooke (our mommies group organizer). And we are close to getting something worked out! That is going to be amazing!! I had hoped that my mommies group would get more involved with our community, and now it is, yeah!!!

We leave for vacation tomorrow night! I am actually getting excited about the beach!! The warm weather, the sand, a TAN haha!! We are going to drive through the night to and from Florida, so we don't have to listen to screaming, bored kids the whole way there! They'll go to sleep in the car and wake up and be at the beach! Wonderfulness!!! I don't know if that is a real word or not but it's the best way I can explain it!!!!

I'm in the process of planning a couple of things as well. One thing is coming up really soon. I can't talk about it much but I'm super excited to be able to do this! It's just going to be so cool!!! And the second thing I'm planning is a baby shower for my little sister. She's due at the Beginning of August. It's so fun to plan, but it's a lot of hard work! Especially with my classes, the kids, vacation, this other thing I'm planning, church! But it all works out!! Too cool!!

I would like to ask for prayers for the Carlton Family. About a month ago, Janet's sister passed away. She was about 7 months pregnant with her first child, Micah. They were able to save little Micah, but now he has to grow up without a mommy. It was all very sudden and very unexpected. Crazy. Anywho, please say a little prayer for them as they are still dealing with that tragedy!!

Also, please pray for my friend Ellen. She is trying to raise money to go on a mission trip to Mexico. Please pray for safety, and for funds!!

Anywho. I guess I rambled enough for one day! I need to go clean my bathrooms now!! Fun, Fun Fun haha!!

God Bless

Mothers Day?

Haha just so ya'll know, Mother's day is supposed to be about MOTHERS. My husband has yet to get that memo, so I thought I would just remind everyone in the hopes that my husband will clue in by next year! I've been a mommy fro 3 years now, and haven't had a mothers day yet!!

*Sigh*

I'm so blessed to be a mommy! I love my little girls!! AND I do love my husband, sometimes hehe!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful day, because all mommies deserve it!!

Graduation

So today Maddy graduated from Sonshine school. Sonshine school is the Mothers-Day-Out program at our church. I can't say enough good things about the program! And today Maddy graduated from 3 year olds to 4 year olds! Haha!! It was wonderful, and sad!! Maddy will do 2 years of the 4 year old class because her birthday is in October! So we still have two more years left at school but it was still sad! She had an amazing teacher, Miss Teresa!! So it's super sad that we won't be in her class next year! She's so wonderful, we really took Miss Teresa into our family!! We love everyone there!! And it was sad watching the 4 year olds graduate to go to Kindergarten. They showed a video of all of the graduating kids as babies and then as their "grown up going to kindergarten" age! It was so sad thinking that my little angel will one day go off to kindergarten.....Anywho!! Here are just a couple of pictures!!
Maddy and Kaden, they acted silly the whole time they performed, they love each other!
Maddy's whole class performing
Smelling the Rose Mema, Pop and Aunt Ash got her
Maddy and Teacher Teresa (I don't know why she looks so sad, we love Miss Teresa)
