Long Time No Post

This will be short but sweet.

I have a midwife appointment on Monday, just my regular check-up! I'm 26 weeks pregnant. I've been put on restrictions. No lifting, nothing heavier than 3-5 lbs. And I shouldn't stand longer than 15 minutes at a time. I started having regular contractions on Tuesday after doing major packing Monday. I just over did it. No big deal, but I am taking it easy.

We will be putting our home on the market within the next two weeks. We are madly packing and staging the home. I'm making lots of progress, lots more to do, lots lots more to do. But there were six homes in our neighborhood for sale and within the past two weeks, two just sold! So homes are selling, yea baby!! Pray for us!!

The girls are doing GREAT!! I couldn't be more proud of them!!

I've got lots of homework to do tonight! Better get to it!

LOTS of CHANGES!!

Wow. Lots going on over here on the home front!

1. We have OFFICIALLY decided to put our home on the market. As soon as baby Katy comes (Early June) we are putting it on the market and moving into Murfreesboro!! YEAH!! Justin is even bringing home boxes so we can start getting the home ready to stage and sell! Whoop Whoop!

2. We are going to send Maddy to Middle TN Christian School in the fall!! She'll be in the 4 year old pre-k class full time. We are so excited and we are going on Wednesday to do the tour and fill out the paper work. It's EXTREMELY expensive. But, I can't find another school I love more. We want our kids to go to this Magnet School called McFadden, and this pre-k program will do a lot to help Maddy be prepared to be tested in!! She's such a smart cookie. She's going to LOVE this pre-k program!

3. Mama is changing majors in college! Yes, I am! Justin and I had a serious talk about how the Early Childhood Education degree just wasn't in my heart anymore. I don't want to teach school, I want to teach preschool. And I don't have to be certified to teach at my church's mothers-day-out program like I already do. And I don't want to work. I want to take my kids to school, pick them up, go on field trips, help in their class rooms. The school schedule is what drew me to teaching in the first place. But it just isn't in my heart anymore. So what's the point in doing it, ya know? So I'm going to switch to a degree that will get me out of school quickly. And then I can decide what I want to be when I grow up later!

I love Sonshine School. Where I teach preschool now. It's 9-2. I have lots of help and I just love being at my church, and teaching the kids about God and Jesus and their love! It's been by far, the most rewarding job I've ever done. Plus, it allows MY kids to be first!! They are my number one priority! I spoke with Mrs. Janice about next year and she does want me to come back and she said to bring Katy with me! She said she's got the perfect spot for her, so she'll be there too!!!! I was worried since she'll only be like 3 months when it's time to return to school. But Mrs. Janice is anxious to have a new baby in the place! I LOVE SONSHINE SCHOOL!!!!!

Well I have to brag on my husband for a minute! 5 years ago, for Valentines Day, Justin popped the big question! We were married a little over a month later! That was the best Valentines Day ever, because I got the best gift, my husband! But I got my second best Valentines Day this past weekend! As you know, Hubby had been out of town for a full week. He came home on Friday. He had made plans with his parents to watch the girls so we could go have dinner Saturday. He took me to Bucca De Bepo, my all time favorite Italian Restaurant. It was beyond fabulous, I am actually still dreaming of their cheesecake! And we got a chance to hold hands, flirt, walk through the mall in Franklin like we were teenagers. It was perfect, man I missed him. AND he got me DIAMOND EARRINGS! Talk about a total shock! When he gave them to me I cried and cried. He thought I was crying because I thought they were too small!! And that is so not the case, if he got them any bigger they would cover my whole ear! They are PERFECT!!!! I was in total shock, because I wanted some badly, but I don't know how he knew!!! I posted a picture below so you can see their sparkiliness!!!

As usual we have a lot going on in our lives and I would appreciate the prayers!! I need to go make some hungry babies (and mommy) some lunch!!

I'm sitting here with the laptop resting on my growing belly. And Katy is rolling around in there and kicking/punching, etc. Well she's moving so much she's knocking my laptop off my stomach! That is awesome!! We are so blessed!!
