BLESSINGS

I am busting at the seams with joy and gratitude!! I got a random call today from a lady that works with my Sister-In-Law. She's having a baby soon and doesn't want to put her kid in daycare. So she called me!! I would be making an extra $400 a month if I watch this little one too! I won't get the baby until after Memorial Day, when Annie gets off of Maternity Leave. I'm just beyond thrilled!!

We just started a Debt bible class at church. And I think it's so obvious God wants us out of debt! We are doing so well too! I know in the past week or two I've cut at least $200 from our spending, just by not buying unneeded groceries and making unnecessary trips to town. I'm proud of us! Last night we both sat down together (I'm helping in a Sunday School Class so I don't actually get to attend the bible class) and we did our homework. We have to memorize this verse:

Everything in the Heavens and Earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your Kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything.

I Chronicles 29:11

Which I love this verse! And we had to answer questions in a notebook and write down all of our assets and liabilities. Good News: we actually have a net worth that isn't negative! It isn't much, but at least we have a net worth!! And we are not in as much credit card debt as we thought. But we are in a LOT of car debt. But we'll get it all taken care of! Especially if I get to watch this sweet little baby!!

God provides, he always does! I have just learned to be patient and it'll come, when it's time. And, through our study last night, I realized that I don't own anything. God owns everything. And, that despite bad times, God always provides, and takes care of us always!!

Anyway, I'm just too excited about God's plan for my family! I'm so thankful to be where I am, and to have God on my side!!!!

Appologies

I have to appologize for being so whiney yesterday! God has given us some really cool blessings the past couple of days. Yesterday after church we were starving. So we went through the Zaxby's drive through. Justin was cooking out with some friends, so I got fries and a chicken sandwich and Maddy got a fried chicken salad. We get home and we have this huge thing of chicken and fries. Just chicken fingers and fries! But enough to last us a couple days!! Isn't that amazing?! We made sure to say extra prayers for that as we ate the Chicken for lunch!!

And then today I get a blessing from a teacher. I needed an extra refrence for Lipsomb and she's going to do it!!!! She's an amazing teacher at MTSU, and I'm so thankful!!! God has really opened this door for me!! I'll graduate from Lipsomb in the spring of 2010!!!! I asked for so long for God to show me my path, give me direction!! And It amazes me that he's really taken me where I need to be!!

Life is wonderful, and I need to learn to complain less and appreciate more. I guess it's just easier for me to see the faults in things! I'm going to work on it!!!

Well, it's a beautiful day!! And I'm going to take the kids swimming in the kiddie pool!!

Prayers

We are in need of prayers. Life is becoming stressful again. Too stressful. Money's too tight, the kids are being testy. I have a 16 year old attitude in a 3 1/2 year old and a 14 month old that wants to scream all of the time......sigh.....schools stressing me out, work is stressing Justin out. So if you could just remember our family......I would REALLY appreciate it!
